Football Recap: West Broward Bobcats vs. Corner Canyon Chargers
West Broward unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Corner Canyon Chargers on Friday, falling 38-13. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 123rd in Florida, while the Chargers are ranked first in Utah).
Although West Broward took the loss, they still got scores from Daquan Adderley and Amos Bradford.
Corner Canyon was led to victory by Helaman Casuga and Weston Briggs. Casuga rushed for 95 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 carries, while Briggs rushed for 74 yards and two scores.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Broward is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Camden County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Corner Canyon, they will challenge Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
