Kennedy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their match on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 69-39 win over Wasco. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Thunderbirds with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Taft was able to grind out a solid victory over Shafter on Friday, taking the game 43-35. The 43-point effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Kennedy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season.
