Basketball Recap: Walla Walla Wins Going Away Against Ferris

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hermiston, Walla Walla was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 62-46 win over the Ferris Saxons. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

When it comes to explaining why Ferris lost, don't look at Mateia Eschenbacher. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards. Eschenbacher is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games she's played.

Walla Walla's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Ferris, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-6.

Walla Walla didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-47 loss against Kamiakin on the 3rd. Ferris has also already played their next contest, a 68-32 defeat against Ridgeline on the 3rd.
