Volleyball Recap: Temecula Prep Takes a Loss

Temecula Prep was the 3-0 winner over San Jacinto Valley Academy when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves on Friday.

The 3-1 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Temecula Prep lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 32-30, 19-25, 24-21.

Temecula Prep now has a losing record of 8-9. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, they pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Temecula Prep will host San Jacinto Leadership Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
