Baseball Game Preview: Leflore Savages vs. Paden Pirates

The Leflore Savages will head out to take on the Paden Pirates at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Leflore lost 15-3 to Keota on Monday.

Leflore saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gage James, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Another was Ben Dacus, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Paden has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.8 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They came up short against Oilton, falling 13-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Pirates have suffered since April 4, 2024.

Paden dropped their record down to 11-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Leflore, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4-1.
