Soccer Recap: Lake Highlands Comes Up Short

Lake Highlands lost against Dallas Jesuit back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lake Highlands Wildcats came up short against the Dallas Jesuit Rangers, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Rangers are ranked 16th).

Lake Highlands' defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Dallas Jesuit, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1.

Coming up, Lake Highlands will take on Berkner at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dallas Jesuit, they will welcome Pearce at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Pearce's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
