Volleyball Recap: Regents Triumphs

Regents's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Redeemer Classical Griffins. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Griffins: they've now won three in a row.

In the three sets Regents was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 20-25, 25-10, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was Carlan Bryant, who had seven digs and five aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (two).

The win got Regents back to even at 1-1. As for Redeemer Classical, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Regents will head out to face off against Cornerstone Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Redeemer Classical, they will venture away from home to square off against Grace Christian at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
