Softball Recap: Bangs Takes a Loss

Bangs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-5 to the Winters Blizzards. That's two games in a row now that the Dragons have lost by exactly eight runs.

Mattisyn Taylor was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season.

Bangs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Winters, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-3.

Coming up, Bangs will welcome Coleman at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Winters, they have already played their next game, a 9-5 win against Hamlin on the 5th.
