This season hasn't been kind to the Hadley Luzerne Eagles, who are still winless after their fourth game. They were beaten by Warrensburg 67-27 on Tuesday. Hadley Luzerne was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-10.
Warrensburg's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Steve Schloss, who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Brady Cheney was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 16 rebounds.
Hadley Luzerne bumped their record down to 0-4 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Warrensburg, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
Hadley Luzerne will head out on the road to face off against Hartford Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Warrensburg will be home for the holidays to greet Fort Edward at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
