Volleyball Game Preview: South Mecklenburg Sabres vs. Ballantyne Ridge Wolves

The South Mecklenburg Sabres will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Ballantyne Ridge Wolves at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. South Mecklenburg will be strutting in after a victory while Ballantyne Ridge will be coming in after a loss.

Olympic came into Wednesday's match looking for another win against South Mecklenburg, but Phoenix Modie wouldn't allow it. South Mecklenburg was the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Olympic on Wednesday for which the team can thank Modie, who had 16 kills, 15 aces, and eight digs. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in aces.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant South Mecklenburg was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-12, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Ballantyne Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Butler.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-20, 25-11.

South Mecklenburg's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Ballantyne Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
