Softball Recap: Hercules' Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Hercules won the last time they faced Kennedy and things went their way on Monday too. The Titans blew past the Eagles 18-7. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won five matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Samaya De Alba was excellent, getting on base in four of her six plate appearances with one triple.

The victory (which was Hercules' fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 22.0 runs over those games. As for Kennedy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-3-1.

Hercules will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. Patrick-St. Vincent at 4:00 p.m. on the 3rd. The Titans are facing the Bruins at the right time seeing as the Bruins are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Kennedy, they have already played their next game, a 20-2 defeat against El Cerrito on the 25th.
