Volleyball Recap: McCollum Takes a Loss

McCollum suffered their biggest defeat since September 24th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Southwest Dragons. The Cowboys were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-11, 25-14.

Nyah Perez paced McCollum's offense, picking up five kills. Perez got some help from Ariannah Soto and her ten assists.

McCollum moved to 22-16 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Southwest, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 29-14.

As of now, neither McCollum nor Southwest have any future games scheduled.
