Baseball Game Preview: Loyola Academy Ramblers vs. Glenbrook South Titans

The Loyola Academy Ramblers will square off against the Glenbrook South Titans at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Loyola Academy is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Loyola Academy couldn't beat Grayslake Central on Monday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fourth inning. The Ramblers fell just short of the Rams by a score of 9-8.

Meanwhile, Glenbrook South lost 9-3 to Libertyville on Friday.

Glenbrook South saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Dooman, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Glenbrook South's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Loyola Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Loyola Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Glenbrook South when the teams last played back in April of 2023, sneaking past 5-3. Will the Ramblers repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
