Softball Recap: Columbia Montour Vo-Tech Comes Up Short

Columbia Montour Vo-Tech lost against Sullivan County back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Columbia Montour Vo-Tech came up short against Sullivan County, falling 26-5.

Ashlyn Zanoline was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Arianna Sheatler, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Even though they lost, Columbia Montour Vo-Tech was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in four consecutive matches.

Columbia Montour Vo-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. Sullivan County has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
