Whitefish Bay scored the most runs they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 17-5 to the Slinger Owls. The Blue Dukes have struggled against the Owls recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Jane Wallace made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Alexandra Pande was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Whitefish Bay's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Slinger, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Whitefish Bay will challenge Homestead at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Slinger, they will take on Nicolet at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Owls are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
