 It may have taken  eight innings to finish the job, but Immanuel Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Friday. They won by a  run and slipped past Non Varsity Opponent  7-6. This was a revenge  contest for Immanuel Christian, as the team was forced to settle for  a  13-3 defeat when these two played  two weeks ago.
  Caleb Fiala made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Fiala was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Aiden Baxter was  incredible,  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.  Jonathan Salter was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 Immanuel Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Non Varsity Opponent, their loss dropped their record down to 87-115-5.
 Immanuel Christian will head out on the road to  face off against  Heritage Christian at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  10-4  defeat vs. Orting on the 3rd.
