Basketball Recap: Aniston O'neil's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ogallala over Mccook

Ogallala was the 39-37 winner over McCook when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Ogallala Indians fell 64-56 to the McCook Bison on Friday.

Ogallala lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Aniston O'Neil, who went 6-for-12 en route to 15 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Shaw, who posted 11 points and three steals.

Ogallala's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for McCook, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-7.

Ogallala has already played their next game, a 50-47 defeat against Broken Bow on the 8th. As for McCook, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 42-31 victory against Alliance on the 8th.
