Softball Recap: Taylor Griffins vs. Woodhaven Warriors

Taylor extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 4-8 in the process. They came up short against the Woodhaven Warriors, falling 13-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in April.

As for Woodhaven, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3. Considering they have won ten matches by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

For Woodhaven's part, Natilee Pridemore was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Pridemore has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 14 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple was her first of the season.
