Basketball Recap: Prairie Central Comes Up Short

Prairie Central was the 76-67 winner over Peoria Christian when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Prairie Central Hawks took a hard 66-49 fall against the Peoria Christian Chargers on Friday.

Prairie Central's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Peoria Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prairie Central will host Fieldcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Peoria Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Calvary at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Calvary is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.2 points per game this season.
