Volleyball Game Preview: New Britain Golden Hurricanes vs. Amity Regional Spartans

The New Britain Golden Hurricanes will face off against the Amity Regional Spartans at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. New Britain will be strutting in after a victory while Amity Regional will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, New Britain beat Norwich Free Academy 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Hurricanes.

New Britain had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-22, 25-23, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Amity Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Joel Barlow, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13, 25-18.

Amity Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for New Britain, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.
