Softball Recap: Deerfield Beach Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Deerfield Beach's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Boyd Anderson Cobras as the Deerfield Beach Bucks made off with an 18-10 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Bucks' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Deerfield Beach's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Deerfield Beach will face off against Hollywood Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Boyd Anderson will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Northeast at 3:45 p.m. on April 1st.
