Volleyball Recap: Eisenhower Comes Up Short

After flying high against Notre Dame on Tuesday, Eisenhower came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the Summit SkyHawks on Friday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the SkyHawks: they've now lost six in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-11, 25-15.

Leading Summit to victory were Rayleen Togagae and Hannah Reyes. Togagae had six aces and five digs, while Reyes had 13 digs. The dominant performance also gave Togagae a new career-high in assists (25).

Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 15-8-1. As for Summit, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-4.

Looking ahead, Eisenhower will take on Grand Terrace at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Summit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
