Football Game Preview: Don Soffer Aventura Barracuda vs. Carol City Chiefs

The Don Soffer Aventura Barracuda will head out on the road to challenge the Carol City Chiefs at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither Don Soffer Aventura nor Carol City posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Don Soffer Aventura's offense might be in the hot seat on Tuesday considering what happened against Dr. Krop on Thursday. They fell to the Lightning 6-0. The Barracuda haven't had much luck with the Lightning recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Carol City's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They were outmatched by Edison and fell 28-0. While losing is never fun, the Chiefs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 144th, while the Red Raiders are ranked 16th).

Don Soffer Aventura's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Carol City, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
