Volleyball Recap: Dillon Christian Takes a Loss

Dillon Christian entered their match against Pee Dee Academy on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Warriors came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 3-0. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Golden Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2022.

While Dillon Christian was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 25-19.

Dillon Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Pee Dee Academy, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Dillon Christian will venture away from home to face off against Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pee Dee Academy, they will head out to square off against King's Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
