Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Goodman-Pembine). They blew past the Elcho Hornets 97-29 on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Goodman-Pembine's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-11. As for Elcho, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Goodman-Pembine Falcons challenge the Three Lakes Bluejays at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elcho, they will take on Florence at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
