Softball Recap: Erasmus Hall Find Success

Erasmus Hall took an eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Lafayette, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Dutchmen had just enough and edged out the Patriots 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Dutchmen have posted since May 9, 2025.

Erasmus Hall's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-6. As for Lafayette, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Erasmus Hall will challenge CSI International Studies at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. CSI International Studies has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.38 runs per game on average), something Erasmus Hall will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lafayette, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Telecommunication Arts Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
