Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Loveland

Fort Collins came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Loveland, but Zayne Desouza wouldn't allow it. The Loveland Red Wolves breezed by the Fort Collins Lambkins to the tune of 66-38 on Tuesday thanks in part to Desouza, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 18 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

Several Lambkins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Marcus Burkett, who went 5 for 8 en route to 17 points and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Finn Reiser, who posted seven points.

The victory was the third in a row for Loveland, bringing their record for this year to 10-2. As for Fort Collins, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Loveland has already played their next game (against Rocky Mountain), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fort Collins has already played their next contest, a 64-36 loss against Legacy on the 15th.
