Soccer Game Preview: Greenbrier vs. White House-Heritage

Greenbrier hasn't had much luck against White House-Heritage recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bobcats will face off against the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. White House-Heritage took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Greenbrier, who comes in off a win.

Greenbrier will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals two weeks ago, then bounced right back against Russellville on Thursday. The Bobcats never let the Panthers get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. The win continues a trend for Greenbrier in their matchups with Russellville: they've now won three in a row.

Greenbrier's offense was hitting Russellville from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for White House-Heritage's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hume-Fogg on Monday. White House-Heritage haven't had much luck with Hume-Fogg recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

White House-Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-2. As for Greenbrier, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Greenbrier might still be hurting after the 7-0 loss they got from White House-Heritage when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Bobcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
