Volleyball Recap: Sophie Burda and Chloe Keuter Secure Win for Maine South

Maine South won the last time they faced Metamora and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hawks won by a set and slipped past the Redbirds 2-1.

Leading Maine South to victory were Chloe Keuter and Sophie Burda. Keuter had nine digs and two assists, while Burda had seven digs. That's the most digs Burda has posted since back in August of 2024.

Maine South now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Metamora, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maine South will challenge Hersey at 5:00 p.m. on the 8th. As for Metamora, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Normal West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
