Cleburne is a perfect 8-0 against Everman since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cleburne Yellowjackets will look to defend their home pitch against the Everman Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Cleburne fell victim to Mansfield Timberview and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of Wolves by a score of 1-0. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Yellowjackets came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 153rd, while Wolves are ranked 364th).

Meanwhile, Everman also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Centennial on Tuesday, falling 9-0. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly nine goals.

Everman dropped their record down to 3-15 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Cleburne, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season.

Cleburne took their victory against Everman when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 9-1. Does Cleburne have another victory up their sleeve, or will Everman turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
