Baseball Recap: Clayton-Ridge Comes Up Short

Clayton-Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Winneshiek Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-8 on Tuesday.

Clayton-Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for South Winneshiek, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Warriors beat Clayton-Ridge by a score of 9-8 later that day.
