Volleyball Game Preview: Manawa Wolves vs. Shiocton Chiefs

Manawa is 0-10 against Shiocton since October of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Wolves will look to defend their home court against the Chiefs at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Manawa hadn't beaten Gresham Community on the road since October 6, 2018 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Wolves walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Meanwhile, Shiocton made easy work of Clintonville on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Chiefs in their matchups with the Truckers: they've now won three in a row.

While Shiocton won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 25-14.

Shiocton's victory bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Manawa, their win bumped their record up to 14-15.
