Volleyball Recap: Zephyrhills Takes a Loss

Zephyrhills saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Palatka Panthers. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Palatka's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sofia Zimmerman led the charge by getting ten digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydni Spencer, who had eight digs and seven assists.

Zephyrhills' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Palatka, they moved to 5-5 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Zephyrhills has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Delphi Academy on the 12th. As for Palatka, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Saint Stephen's Episcopal on the 12th.
