Marysville never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They came out on top against the River Valley Falcons by a score of 5-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Indians as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Not much got past Antonio Torrez, who gave up just three hits to keep River Valley off the board.

On the hitting side, Harley Gisler and Avery Landrum did most of the damage at the plate: Gisler went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, while Landrum scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Those two RBI gave Gisler a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chevy Zacharopoulos, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.

Marysville's victory bumped their record up to 5-17-1. As for River Valley, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.

Coming up, Marysville will head out on the road to face off against Center at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for River Valley, they will host Del Campo at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
