Volleyball Recap: Oakwood Takes a Loss

Oakwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Marlborough Mustangs.

Marlborough was led to victory by Tatawan Vongfak and Jocelyn Schechter. Vongfak had 15 digs and one assist, while Schechter had 15 assists and three aces. That's the most assists Schechter has posted over her last three contests.

Oakwood's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Marlborough, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-12 record this season.

Oakwood has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Bishop Alemany on the 27th. As for Marlborough, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Eagle Rock on the 27th.
