Baylor has gone 8-1 against Webb recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Baylor Red Raiders will challenge the Webb Spartans at 5:00 p.m. Baylor is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

Baylor picked up another tournament win on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past Signal Mountain 11-10.

The team relied heavily on Blake Lundy, who scored two runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Emerson Morris, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Baylor hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most three strikeouts in three consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Webb fell victim to Hardin Valley Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the Hawks, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Spartans' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Baylor now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Webb, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Baylor beat Webb 5-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Baylor since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
