Soccer Game Preview: Western vs. Rancho Alamitos

The Western Pioneers will square off against the Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Western has three straight victories, Rancho Alamitos has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Western is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Orange an 8-0 shutout on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Pioneers with their most commanding win of the season.

Rancho Alamitos' loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Western, the win got them back to even at 3-3-4.
