Soccer Game Preview: Millard West vs. Skutt Catholic

The Millard West Wildcats will venture away from home to face off against the Skutt Catholic SkyHawks at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Millard West lost 5-2 to Gretna East on Thursday. Kennedy Moore was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on her (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

She and Elle Leece scored both of Millard West's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Meanwhile, Skutt Catholic waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Cardinals get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. That's two games straight that Skutt Catholic have won by exactly ten goals.

Millard West now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Skutt Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Millard West might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Skutt Catholic in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can Millard West avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
