Volleyball Recap: MAST Academy Triumphs

MAST Academy proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Norland Vikings 3-2. For the Makos, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

MAST Academy was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-16, 15-25, 25-19, 15-3.

MAST Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Norland, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-1.

Coming up, MAST Academy is taking a road trip to take on Monsignor Pace at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norland, they will host Killian at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
