Basketball Game Preview: Dugger Union Bulldogs vs. White River Valley Wolverines

The Dugger Union Bulldogs will challenge the White River Valley Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Dugger Union is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 45-35 win over Cloverdale. 45 seems to be a good number for the Bulldogs as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Meanwhile, White River Valley waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They claimed a resounding 75-11 win over the Lions. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 26 points or more this season.

White River Valley has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.9 points per game. As for Dugger Union, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-15.

Dugger Union took a serious blow against White River Valley when the teams last played back in January, falling 79-38. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Dugger Union was down 45-17.
