Basketball Game Preview: Santa Fe Demons vs. Eldorado Golden Eagles

The Santa Fe Demons will face off against the Eldorado Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Santa Fe will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Santa Fe is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Mexico's top teams: West Mesa, who was ranked 13th at the time (Santa Fe was ranked 11th). Santa Fe came out on top against West Mesa by a score of 53-46 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Eldorado came up short against La Cueva on Thursday, falling 79-55. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Golden Eagles have suffered against the Bears since February 17, 2022.

Santa Fe is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Eldorado, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

Santa Fe beat Eldorado 64-56 in their previous matchup back in March of 2019. Does Santa Fe have another victory up their sleeve, or will Eldorado turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
