On Friday Railyn Cox didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. The effort also marked the fewest walks (zero) Cox has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her fourth in a row with less than two walks. This year, she has been strong no matter where she plays. On the mound, she has an ERA of 2.98 over 51.7 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat she has slashed 0.600/0.600/0.800 with 17 RBI.

Looking ahead, Cox and Charleston will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Teresa at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
