Baseball Recap: St. Marys Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Punxsutawney, St. Marys was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Brockway Rovers.

Ben Reynolds and Jackson Vollmer did most of the damage at the plate: Reynolds scored a run while going 2-for-5, while Vollmer scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-5.

The win got St. Marys back to even at 1-1. As for Brockway, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, St. Marys will head out to square off against DuBois at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Brockway, they will host Kane at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Brockway's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
