Volleyball Recap: Claire Mank and Julia Schneider Secure Win for Oak Creek

Oak Creek won the last time they faced Kettle Moraine and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Knights put the hurt on the Lasers with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Oak Creek not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Kettle Moraine between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-18.

Leading Oak Creek to victory were Julia Schneider and Claire Mank. Schneider had seven aces and three digs, while Mank had 12 digs and five aces. Those seven aces gave Schneider a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Oak Creek was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Oak Creek's victory bumped their record up to 25-15. As for Kettle Moraine, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-19.

Oak Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kettle Moraine, they will take on Grafton in a tournament on Saturday.
