St. Henry and Conner are an even 2-2-2 against one another since October of 2015, but likely not for long. The Crusaders will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. St. Henry will be strutting in after a win while Conner will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with eight defeats in a row, St. Henry turned things around against Scott on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Eagles a 3-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, Conner faced Notre Dame Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Cougars fell just short of the Pandas by a score of 2-1. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Conner couldn't quite close it out.

Conner's loss dropped their record down to 12-5-1. As for St. Henry, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.
