Basketball Recap: Prue Comes Up Short

Prue has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-50 heartbreaker at the hands of the Paden Pirates. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Rockets have suffered since December 1, 2023.

Prue's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Paden, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Prue and Paden should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Prue will challenge Dove Science Academy at 6:30 p.m. on February 4th up 221 places (220 vs. 441). Similarly, Paden (ranked 131st) will meet Oilton (ranked 479th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
