Soccer Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson managed to keep up with Hillcrest until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Jefferson Patriots came up short against the Hillcrest Panthers, falling 4-0. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, the Patriots' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Jefferson now has a losing record at 3-4-1. As for Hillcrest, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Jefferson has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against South Oak Cliff on the 10th. As for Hillcrest, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Molina on the 10th.
