Softball Recap: Edinburg North Cougars vs. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Bears
Edinburg North easily dispatched La Joya last Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Cougars fell just short of the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Bears by a score of 5-3 on Friday. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.
Destany Bermudez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on ten hits.
