Palmer Trinity gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They never let the Coral Shores Hurricanes get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The Falcons have beaten the Hurricanes the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Hurricanes has come to flipping the script.

Emily 'Emmy' Cerda made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in March of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kinsey Cerda, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Dani Mendoza was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
