Softball Recap: Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua's victory against Conrad wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Scotties skirted past the Cowboys 8-7. That's two games straight that the Scotties have won by just one run.

Brynlie Boreson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and three unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, CharLee McColly was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Halle Hunter, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

The win (which was Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua's third in a row) raised their record to 15-6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Conrad, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-12 record.

As of now, neither Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua nor the Cowboys have any future games scheduled.
